Handmade Machine

The Handmade Machine is an open-ended programming playground in which you write code step-by-step to make the tests pass and incidentally end up building interesting little pieces of software.

• Understand the machine's few graphics and input primitives, and code cool things on top of them.
• Stay in the coding flow with the integrated programming environment, tests, and tutorials providing just the right amount of guidance for the next step of the challenge.
• Embrace deliberate programming as a form of meditation, better enjoyed without the internet. AI = off, your craft = on.
• Take a peek behind the scenes: the C-based programming language is open source.

The Handmade Machine runs fully client-side, and any code you write never leaves your computer. Any change you make is automatically saved in the browser's local storage.
